Hi Everyone! For the next couple of weeks you might not hear from me everyday. I have family visiting from Australia and my kids are off for Christmas break. So, I will try my best to get some posts out every once in a while. Please keep checking back for something new!

Today, I have for you a Christmas tag that I made for the ladies that came out to my Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack.

Happy Birthday!

Hi Everyone! Today is a really BIG day in our house. Our son turns 16!!! We have a 16 year old! Time goes by so fast!

This is the card I made for him. Guess what his favorite colour is?

wetlands

I used an old embossing folder that I have had since before I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I used the technique where you brayer the colour in the embossing folder. I wanted the green to come out in the blank spaces, but I put the colour on the wrong side of the embossing folder (never really any mistakes in crafting right?!). Either way I liked how it turned out!

Supplies:

Paper: Whisper White, Cucumber Crush

Inks: Cucumber Crush

Stamps: Wetlands

Accessories: Happy Birthday Embossing Folder (not Stampin' Up!, but you could use any embossing folder), Decorative Label Punch, Oval Punch, Brayer, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions let me know!

Stocking Stuffers!

Hi Everyone!  Around here we all contribute to putting stuff into each others stockings. That way the expense isn't all on one person. I found these little chocolate hockey pucks at our local Bluk Barn. I knew my dad would just love them!

too terrific tags

I put them in a cellophane bag and tied it with 1/8" Striped Ribbon from the Holiday Catalog. Of course it needed some kind of tag. I got out my old, but loved stamp set Too Terrific Tags (retired).

I love how you can take something so ordinary as little chocolates, and dress them up to look extra yummy!

Supplies:

Paper: Whisper White, Garden Green

Inks: Real Red

Stamps: Too Terrific Tags (retired)

Accessories: Cellophane bag, 1/8" Striped Ribbon, Tag Punch (retired), Bakers Twine

Hearth and Home

Hi Everyone! For today's card I used the very versatile Hearth and Home Thinlit. I have used it for all different occasions. I just love it!

hearth and home

This card was a little complicated to put together. You need to put the window together before you adhere it to the card.

Some of my ladies at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack offset the brown horse so you could see both the white and brown horse. It looked really cool!

Supplies:

Paper: Whisper White, Silver Glitter paper, Soft Sky, Soft Suede

This one is using the wonderful Gift Card Envelope and Trims Thinlit. You can do so much with this Thinlit! I made a whole bunch this summer to hand out to people with my business card in it. The great thing about it was that you could take my business card out and they could reuse it as a Gift Card Holder!
